What an education fundraiser can cover
An education campaign can raise money for one student or for a whole school:
School and university fees
Boarding, hostel and feeding costs
Books, uniforms and a laptop
Exam and registration fees
Scholarships for students from your community
School projects: a library, a classroom block or a computer lab
Show supporters the student behind the story
Say who the student is, what they are studying and what they hope to do, with the amounts from the fee bill or admission letter and the date they are due. Supporters respond to a clear plan: how much is needed, by when, and what happens next.
Campaigns for children need extra care. A parent or guardian should organize or agree to the campaign, and you should share only what supporters need to know. Campaigns involving minors can receive enhanced review.
Old students, alumni and churches
Old students’ associations, alumni groups and churches often fund scholarships or school projects together. A group can organize as an organization, verified with its registration documents, or a verified member can organize on the group’s behalf.
Share the campaign in year-group WhatsApp chats and at homecoming events. Alumni abroad can give by card.
Paying the school
Payouts go to the organizer’s or beneficiary’s bank account or mobile money wallet after the usual checks, and you then pay the school. Post an update confirming that the fees were paid, with personal details covered, so supporters can see the result.

Questions people ask
Can I raise money for my child’s school fees?
Yes. As a parent or guardian you can organize an education campaign after verifying your identity, then share it with family and friends.
Can a school raise money for a project?
Yes. Schools register as organizations, verify with their registration documents and can then run campaigns for projects such as a library or a classroom block.
Can an old students’ association use Ujimora?
Yes. Register the association as an organization, or have a verified member organize the campaign for the group.
Can people abroad help pay school fees?
Yes, by debit or credit card. Donations are charged in cedis and the card issuer converts the amount; some cards issued outside Ghana may not be accepted.
How long should an education campaign run?
We suggest 30 to 60 days, ending a week or two before the fees are due so there is time to request a payout. The end date cannot be changed after you submit.
