## How does Ujimora verify campaigns?
Organizers must complete identity verification before they can create campaigns. Before a campaign goes live, its text is screened, by automated safety screening if the organizer allows it or otherwise by our staff, and cover photos are checked by staff. Goals above GH₵250,000 need staff approval unless the organizer is currently verified and has published a campaign before. Screening looks for unsafe or prohibited content; it does not confirm every claim, so read the campaign before you give. Verified organizations show a badge that helps donors judge credibility.
## What happens if a campaign is fraudulent?
We remove the campaign from public view, hold payouts that have not yet been approved while we investigate, and work with donors on refunds where funds can be recovered. We cooperate with law enforcement. Use the "Report" button on any campaign to flag concerns.
